Trick or Treat!

Here are some pictures of the boys in their Halloween costumes :). We went to a Halloween party for kids with special needs last Saturday. Cuddlebug and Bearhug had fun, Little Bitty didn't want to go in. Lucky for us they had a little lobby in the front that was separate from the party, so he hung out in there with dh while I took BH and CB in to the party. He gets a little overwhelmed with new places, it usually takes him about two hours to warm up and decide he's ready to join in. Unfortunately the party was only 2 hours so we left a little early (before he was ready to join the fun) to avoid having him get upset at being told it was time to go home when he decided he wanted to play.

Friday we went trick-or-treating door to door for the first time! I wasn't sure if we were going to go, that morning when I asked if they were excited to go trick-or-treating the response was lukewarm at best. But that evening when the first trick-or-treaters showed up at our door, Bearhug and Cuddlebug decided they wanted to go. Bitty took one look at the costumed kids on the sidewalk and decided he wanted no part of it, so he stayed home with dh to hand out candy.

We live on a small street so we just went up and down the street and we were done. That was just right for us :), the boys were ready to come home by the time we had circled back to our house. Amazingly, they still got a ton of candy! I'm going to have to take some to work to give away, there's no way we can eat it all.

Here are some pictures of Cuddlebug and Bearhug trying on their costumes. Bearhug was a sword-wielding wizard:

And Cuddlebug was a "glowing" rabbit:

Here's some pics from the Halloween party. I decided to dress up too. Dh made fun of me (just a little, lol) but the boys thought it was cool :). As you can see, it's really hard to get everyone standing still together and looking the same direction...

And a couple of pictures from trick-or-treating:
