This little guy camped out on the bush in front of our house for about 2 weeks, he made a huge web and apparently it was a prime spot for bug-catching because from the looks of him, he wasn't missing any meals :).

I am so arachnaphobic!
Cool shot, but I do hate spiders!
I just found you via a comment you left on another post I was reading. I wanted to stop in and say "hi".
My husband is also a SAHD. :)
Eeeeshh... bugs (especially spiders!) are NOT my thing. But the web is beautiful! I've never been able to get a "web shot" to show up, you've definitely got a talent there!
I think it's a she - you know, like Charlotte.
We've found a golden orb spider in the yard most years. I think they might have been successive generations.
I don't mind looking at one, from a distance. The thought of touching even the web gives me the creeps. You might say I have spider-sensory issues. Ahem.
Eeek! Spiders give me the creepies but I do love taking pics of those webs. Great shot!

Oh yikes! That thing is huge! Great shot though!
Wow! Look that! I walked into a huge web like that once. UGH!! HORRIBLE! :D I love spider web PICTURES, though.
Holy mackeral! You're nicer than me - he'd have been long gone if he'd have dared come to our house!
