Magic Marker Monday: Spooky rooms

Photobucket

Cuddlebug and Bearhug were assigned a project for school to design and build a "spooky room" (or other type of room) using a shoebox. All of the rooms were combined into a "haunted mansion" and each of the students had to come up with persuasive points to "sell" their room.

Each of them (independently) decided to do a room based on King Boo's haunted castle, from the Mario Bros video games. As you can see, they made quite a mess in the process of creating their boxes.

Little Bitty decided to do a little artwork of his own:

Bearhug with his completed box. There's a bookcase with a spider, ghosts (King Boo's), and flying caps, among other things.

And Cuddlebug with his finished box also, complete with King Boo's, flying caps, bookshelf and cats.

What a fun idea, Julie! It looks like the boys had a great time and their boxes turned out amazing -- Jacqui thinks these are very cool and wants to try making one too! ;)
