Lately we have noticed that Little Bitty loves to sing! He has a rather sing-song voice sometimes anyway, and it's hard to make out the words (most of them sound like babbling, much like his speech), so we didn't realize at first that he was singing songs. But then we started to make out little snippets of a recognizable tune here and there, and when we stopped to listen, sure enough, he'd sing an entire song!
Here are some of his favorites:
* the Wonder Pets theme song
* the ABC song
* Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star
* songs from Wow Wow Wubbzy
* Wheels on the Bus
In fact, the other day he was playing with one of his puzzles that has several different vehicles, and he was making up his own version of the "Wheels on the Bus" song for each of them:
* the wheels on the train go "choo-choo-choo"
* the wheels on the boat go "boh-boh-boh" (pretty sure that's "boat, boat, boat" lol)
* the wheels on the car go "cah-cah-cah" (yep, "car, car, car")
* the wheels on the helicopter ("eh-caw") go "eh-caw, eh-caw"
..."awwww doooo da-tahhh" (all through the town) I love it :). He actually carries a pretty good tune. If I start singing "Wheels on the Bus" he gets a huge smile on his face and starts rolling his hands.

Love Little Bitty's vertion!
Im sure thats why my son started putting his fingers in his ears - when i sang!
@Casdok - LOL! If I try to sing to him at bedtime, he yells "Aw duh!!" (all done) hehe
That's so cute! I love it! :D
Wow, your list would also be my 2 year olds! I've never met any other kid as interested in Wubbzy as her. She even has the books!
Another of her favorites is Yankee Doodle. I think she just likes to sing "..and called it macaroni!"
How adorable! I love that he thinks outside the box for more words to the song! Sounds fun!
So creative! Have you made an audiotaped him? It might be a sweet thing to listen to when he's older.
Don't you love music??? It can have HUGE benefits, especially for children who are non-neurotypical.
Music Together classes have been a huge key to unlocking the verbal and social skills of both my boys.
That is so wonderful and sweet, how exciting to hear your baby singing. Yaay!
Oh goodness, don't those little moments (that we know not to take for granted) make your whole insides just melt? So precious.
