This is a note that I found crumpled up in the playroom one day (a year or so ago). It is from Bearhug to Cuddlebug. Apparently, they'd gotten into a fight earlier in the day before I got home.
There's a lot of emotion in it, with the laughing faces on the front and the angry face inside. In case you can't tell, "sdenks" is how he spelled "stinks." (yes, I wrote over their actual names with their "internet aliases")
Since they seemed to be fine by the time I found it, I opted not to ask them about it, because I didn't want to rehash any animosity that they seemed to have already worked through on their own. So, I'm not sure what motivated him to write this note.
The next day, I found another note. This one was just folded, not crumpled up (so it must have been received better). It confirmed for me that they'd "made up" and were on good terms again. :)
I thought it was sweet that Bearhug had taken the time to write a nice note to his brother, after the rather mean note the day before. In that last line "famale's" means "families."

Very cute! My son has started writing me notes like this. Usually the first one will say something like, "I don't like you" and the next will say "I'm sorry"!
This is just so sweet - I am sitting here with such a big smile after seeing this. How great that he would write notes (especially the second) :)
Omgosh! That second note is just so sweet!
How wonderful that they use writing as a way to express themselves to each other. :)
Oh, that first note is just hilarious! I love all of the little faces he took the time to draw :D
The second one is so sweet -- I think that finding little notes like these are one of my (many) favorite things about being a mom.
Happy MMM Danette! :)

Awww! That's so sweet that he wrote a note to his brother! I have to say I love the first one too. I'm glad you saved it! :D
Those are so cute! I actually thought the last line of the 2nd note read "I love tamales", as in the Mexican dish. Families does make more sense!
When I read it I thought that it was a misspell for
"i love females"
(that would have been what my son would write LOL).
How cute that is and really great penmanship!

reading your post makes me feel normal! thanks...:) I need more normal moments!
The other day the weather was beautiful, but my daughter was reading a book-- I told her (err suggested) that she go outside... her brother was yelling for her to come play and she was ignoring him. Finally she went out to play~ she wrote in chalk via a bar graph... how unhappy she was to be outside when she'd rather be reading! :) love this!
