me: Did you have a good day at school?
CB: yes!
[pause]
CB: don'tcha know we always?! (sounding annoyed)
me: well, usually, yeah.
CB: then can you stop asking?
yeesh, ok. I guess I do ask him that pretty much every day, guess he got tired of it.
