SOOC: A breakthrough

Notice anything unusual?

Those who've been reading for a while may see it...

It was the first thing I noticed when I came home from work that day.

Here's a little hint...

Admittedly, it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, and not something we were actively working on, but it was a welcome surprise. It didn't last... but if it can happen once, it can happen again :).

I think I know! He is not wearing a Thomas Train T-shirt! Alaska, eh?

Good for all! Barbara

I'm guessing it's his beautiful smile. Even if that's not what you meant, it's a great shot!!

Heh. Okay, after reading back a bit, I am going to guess "wearing a non-Thomas shirt"!

Oh. yeah. Try taking James out of wearing a red shirt when *he wants a red shirt!*

Love your guy's smile!

Brilliant
I LOVE that he has expanded his wardrobe - while his prior sartorial style was pretty awesome - its always good to expand horizons
He is beautiful

Yes! it's his non-Thomas shirt :). I'm hoping this is a sign that he's willing to branch out because he's starting to outgrow his Thomas shirts and it gets harder to find them in bigger sizes... (although we can get creative if we have to).

And I have to agree w/ the comments about his smile too :) (of course, I am biased, lol). ;)

Could he get any sweeter?!
I think I just melted over that delcious smile.

He's not wearing a Thomas shirt! Hooray! And I don't think it is a little thing, or if it is, it is well worth celebrating. I am hoping to get Danny to wear a short-sleeved shirt tomorrow and if I succeed, I too will celebrate!

OHMYGOSH - what are the odds? I came over because Itty Bit received some Thomas gifts for his birthday and I always think of your family! And here your gorgeous boy is outgrowing his Thomas?!? :)

Oh gosh - how could you not love that beautiful smile... I'm melting!

(p.s. While grandma and daddy were on the phone discussing available Thomas characters for Itty Bit's birthday gifts, he kept shrieking, "YES! That one is my favorite!" about 50 billion times... I still have no clue which one actually IS his favorite, but for the past 5 minutes it is Spencer, ha ha)

@Rachel - lol, it turned out to be a one-time thing, he was back to his daily Thomas the next day :)

how cute with Itty Bit's "favorites"! :)
