When we were kids, my younger brother used to go running to look at airplanes whenever he heard one flying overhead, which was pretty often because we lived on an Air Force Base. If we were inside, he ran for the window :).
That memory came to mind this past weekend when the boys and I were in the garage (with the door open) and we heard an airplane flying by. Bitty perked right up and went running outside to catch a glimpse of the plane:

Uh.... yeah.... he still does that... Usually followed by a "Jen! Come look at this! That's a (fill in the blank)!"
Yeah... I married a plane dork... ;)
Heh, I still do that.
He'd love our place .... we live in the middle of no where but are under the flight path for the airforce ...
... lots of interrupted school mornings let me tell you.
That's great!
Have a great Wednesday!

How fun for him to spot a plane!
=) How cute!!
Good times!!!
Cute ...my son has to point out every plane that goes overhead too. We have a great festival not to far away every summer, and he is just in love with all the different types of planes going over..We got to see the huge airbus this year.
How adorable! Great capture!
Happy WW!
I'm also a mom of 3 on the spectrum and I know just how great it is to see your boy point!
Awesome!
Happy WW~

Great picture. You really captured that excitement of peaking at the sky.
I have to admit I still get a thrill of seeing a plane fly overhead. But that's just because I'm dreaming of a deserted beach...
What a great picture! There are some things that you just don't outgrow!
what a cute lil boy he is
Very cute!
my husband still is bad at this
I think it's neat to see family traits across generations.

Cool. I guess everyone has a similar memory. I can totally recall my own version of that story, getting excited whenever I see an airplane flying over. Thank you for sharing this. Cute!
So cute! When the Flash was little, he would totally cry out "a-pain!" a good 30 seconds before we could see or hear it. We were always amazed at his power of noticing them so quickly. My kids would love to live near Sande. Under an airforce flight path would be their dream location!
