It's a Pokemon called Salamence, and well, I'm thinking maybe that one won't be so hard to do. I mean, basically it's a dragon. I should be able to find some tips on making a (hopefully easy) dragon costume, and then customize it to use these colors, etc.
Yeah, I think I can do that. But I better get on it... because it's almost October!
As for Bearhug, he just shrugged and said he doesn't want to dress up. Halloween costumes - not his thing. Halloween *candy* on the other hand, now that he can get on board with. Or as he said in reference to birthday cupcakes not too long ago, "I want some of that action!" LOL Maybe he can just say he's going as "Ash" the Pokemon trainer, no costume really needed for that.
And then there's Bitty. He doesn't really understand what Halloween is all about and probably couldn't care less if he dresses up or not. Gee, I wonder what we should dress him up as? Well, considering that the ONLY thing he wants to wear is clothes with Thomas on them, I think it's pretty simple, eh?
Oh yeah, he's going as Thomas. Again. I must say, we're getting some mileage out of these costumes - I made them back when Cuddlebug and Bearhug were Bitty's age :).

sooo not fair!! you are talented to boot... I need to have 6 costumes and don't know where to start - love the thomas ones!! They are just too cute! The Capuchin would be all "Tomaaa!!!"
Very cool. My guy wants to be Wall-E, so I need to start working on that costume. Our daughter doesn't have any strong preferences, so I convinced her that Eva would be good. Didn't really think that one through because now I'm not sure how I'm going to make that costume...

Believe it or not, our Younger Teen made her own Pokemon costume to wear to 'Spirit Week' at High School. Some of her friends and her are still loving those little characters. I liken it to young teens still wanting to play with dolls. I also remind myself that is not such a bad thing. (Versus, you know, boys, alcohol and drugs.)
BTW, she made herself Raichu (spelling?) the next rendition of Pekachoo. DO NOT expect me to know more than that.
I just got to spend a few minutes with my great nephew yestday - a 3-y/o with a Thomas fascination.
Love reusing clothes and costumes! It's so (not green) PRACTICAL.

It is just right around the corner! I can't believe it's almost Halloween, how exciting! Good luck with the Salamence costume for Cuddlebug :) If Bearhug goes as Ash then he could be Cuddlebug's trainer, how cute! Ah, and of course, adorable little Bitty, the Thomas train costume's a big hit with him!
