Palkia strikes again

In today's news... traffic came to a halt this afternoon when a sudden Pokemon battle in the middle of the Island of Sodor made a local bridge impassable.

The citizens of Sodor were frightened but no one was harmed in the incident, other than Pikachu being a bit dazed. He was airlifted to the nearest Pokemon Center and is doing fine.

The city remains under an electrical-storm watch as Palkia is still in the area, on the lookout for more formidable foes.

SOOC: Fungus-among-us

Mr. Bitty has had ringworm on his scalp for almost two months now. We've nicknamed it his "fungus-among-us" (yes, we watch too many cartoons).

He's been taking medicine and it is S-L-O-W-L-Y getting better, but he still has a bald spot. It used to be a big yucky-looking red bald spot, but now it's a smaller, pale (not red) almost-bald spot with a little peach fuzz growing back :).

He has a baseball cap that he wears when we're out and about, and we got him this cute little hat to wear to church. Took a little while to get him to leave it on, but he's become a pro at it now :). I usually flip the front part up a little so he can see better, but he likes to flip it back down.

SOOC: Cat-fishing

Dh let Bitty "practice" fishing in the yard, and of course Orion was fascinated by the little fishing weight bopping around the yard...

SOOC: Sleepy traveler

I'm eventually going to get some pictures from our vacation posted (my parents are probably the only ones anxiously awaiting, lol) but here's a preview...

Mr. Bitty asleep in the car on the drive back home, still clutching his beloved "Baby Ei-stei wetters," the alphabet books that were a much-awaited birthday gift :).

SOOC: Nine years old

As of 10:31pm (and 10:33pm) yesterday, Cuddlebug and Bearhug are officially nine years old.

They came into the world weighing nine pounds, nine ounces (combined - Cuddlebug was 4 lbs 1 oz, Bearhug was 5 lbs 8 oz.).

So to celebrate, I decided to share nine SOOC (straight-out-of-camera, no editing) photos from their first year. Please ignore the grainy look, these are all from my camcorder.

Sigh... I miss when they were so little :).

Well, minus the zombified sleep-deprivation of course. Other than that, I miss when they were so little ;).

But as they grow, my love for them grows too, and I am so grateful for them and proud of the young men they are becoming. :)
